First hire strategy-owner building an organic edutainment content property for Filipino men 30+, running end-to-end production and team setup under real-time pressure, to grow engagement and improve paid ad efficiency.

Responsibilities

Build team and validate strategy: audit existing plan, run host/videographer/editor searches, keep posting during setup.
Own strategy and content: define formats, topics, mix, cadence; map topics to product categories.
Plan weekly calendar and direct shoots: provide creative direction, review every cut before publishing.
Run analytics and engagement: read weekly metrics, kill underperformers, scale winners, document decisions.
Plan and execute production: manage locations, schedules, street interviews, and logistics end-to-end.
Direct hosts and manage editing pipeline: coach on-camera development, lead editor, set edit style, enforce turnaround.
Build and lead pod operations: hire chemistry-tested hosts, onboard pod, run weekly rhythm, report metrics.

Required Qualifications

5-8 years content/media experience, including 2+ years leading short-form video teams.
Owned end-to-end content operations: strategy through production through results, not single-slice work.
Demonstrated content strategy ownership with evidence, including inheriting and redirecting plans.
Native TikTok/Reels fluency: hooks, retention, format selection, cadence, and cut-level performance.
Creative director/producer competence: plan shoots, run on-location, manage editing pipeline.
Fast team-building under deadlines: hire talent quickly with HR support, decide final selections.
Data literacy and outcome ownership: use retention/share/save analytics to change plans proactively.

Preferred Qualifications

Talent management experience: coach on-camera talent, handle creative egos calmly.
Filipino market fluency: Taglish authenticity; Bisaya familiarity is a plus.
Tools and AI fluency: TikTok/Meta analytics, project trackers, daily AI workflow usage.
Strong written planning and reporting: weekly reports and plans partners can read independently.
Operates unsupervised: runs pod day-to-day, escalates only budget/strategy/people issues.
